About this tender
Overview Webuild, as WA Life, will deliver the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP) in Perth. Commissioned by the Western Australian Government, the landmark project aims to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families in Western Australia. The Women and Babies Hospital (WBH) will be built within the Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) precinct in the southern suburb of Murdoch. The project also includes a major expansion of Osborne Park Hospital (OPH), located in the northern suburb of Stirling. As Managing Contractor, WA Life will complete the design and engineering, procurement, construction, and handover of health care facilities located at FSH and OPH. The WBH health facility will essentially be a greenfield site containing a new 78,000sqm state-of-the-art hospital and operating campus. The OPH health facility will be a brownfield site within the existing OPH precinct. It involves the demolition and expansion of the existing and operational (non-teaching) hospital with complex interfaces. General Scope of Supply / Services The Works include, but are not limited to, the supply of General Hospital Furniture and Fixtures (FF&E), including Medical and Laboratory Equipment. Please refer to the FF&E List on Page 3. Suppliers / Vendors are requested to tick the relevant checkbox(es) and provide a list of the items you are interested in bidding for. HSE Requirements SUBCONTRACTOR shall comply with all regulations and procedures relating to Health and Safety and Environment requirements laid down by Statutory Authorities, CONTRACTOR and the SUBCONTRACTOR’S Own Safety Manual. SUBCONTRACTOR shall maintain a highest regard of the health and safety of its own personnel and of environment and ensure that its activities do not endanger the safety of SUBCONTRACTOR’S personnel and local communities. All reasonable precautions shall be taken for the protection of the workers and of the members of public and property that might be affected by SUBCONTRACTOR’S Work/Services.
