Overview VenuesWest is undertaking the PHPC EWIS and Fire Systems Upgrade Works project at the Perth High Performance Centre (PHPC), located at 100 Stephenson Avenue, Mount Claremont, Western Australia. The project has been developed following a comprehensive review of the existing fire protection systems and emergency warning infrastructure at PHPC and the adjacent childcare centre. Scope General Requirements Investigation and verification of existing site conditions relevant to the Works Coordination of temporary fire safety measures and system outages required to complete the Works Protection of existing assets and maintenance of site operations during construction Testing, commissioning, certification and demonstration of system functionality Preparation and submission of as-constructed documentation Provision of operation and maintenance information Training of VenuesWest personnel Rectification of defects during the defects liability period All associated works necessary to provide a complete, operational and compliant installation Emergency Warning and Intercommunication System (EWIS) Replacement and upgrade of existing emergency warning and intercommunication equipment Removal and replacement of obsolete EWIS infrastructure Upgrade and modification of associated communication devices, warning devices and field equipment Modification of existing evacuation system infrastructure and associated interfaces Updating of evacuation and emergency warning documentation associated with the completed Works Fire Detection and Alarm System Upgrade and modification of the existing fire detection and alarm systems Installation of additional fire detection devices and associated infrastructure Alteration and reconfiguration of existing fire detection equipment and interfaces Programming, testing and commissioning of modified systems Updating of fire alarm documentation associated with the completed Works Fire Hydrant System Upgrade and modification of the existing fire hydrant system Installation of additional fire hydrant infrastructure to improve fire coverage throughout the facility Alterations to existing hydrant pipework, supports, valves and associated components Removal, replacement or upgrading of existing hydrant system components where required Updating of fire hydrant documentation associated with the completed Works Fire Hose Reel System Upgrade and modification of the existing fire hose reel system Installation of additional fire hose reels and associated infrastructure Alterations to existing pipework, supports, valves and ancillary components Updating of signage and documentation associated with the completed Works Indigo Montessori Childcare Centre Fire Systems Upgrade and modification of fire detection and occupant warning systems serving the childcare centre Separation and reconfiguration of existing fire system interfaces where required Installation of new fire system infrastructure, monitoring equipment and associated services Testing, commissioning and certification of modified systems Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A mandatory site visit and briefing will be held for this opportunity.
