About this advance notice

Overview The Forest Products Commission (FPC) intends to soon release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a Panel of up to three suitably qualified and experienced forestry service providers (Establishment Managers) to deliver plantation establishment services (Pinus radiata) on First Rotation (1R) sites in the South West. Scope The scope includes: Site preparation Planting Fertilising Early-stage maintenance, including weed control Planning, coordinating and delivering plantation establishment services Management of subcontractors Managing pine seedlings grown at the FPC's West Manjimup Nursery and delivered to sites ahead of planting, which is to commence from early June of each year These activities are to enable the achievement of defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced forestry service provider Instructions to Tenderers Panel members will operate as Establishment Managers responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering services, including management of subcontractors. Services will be allocated by the FPC based on program requirements. Full details will be contained within the Request documents.
