The Kimberley Ports Authority (KPA) is responsible for the Ports of Derby, Yampi Sound and Wyndham and directly manages the Port of Broome (Port). The Port of Wyndham is located 105km to the northwest of Kununurra and has received First Point of Entry (FPOE) status, allowing it to handle direct international vessel arrivals for both cargo and cruise ships. The port is now undergoing infrastructure upgrades to support this expanded FPOE capability. KPA seeks a suitably experienced construction team to undertake Forward Earthworks to enable the site to be prepared for the main civil and building construction works to begin. Site Visit A site visit will be held at Harbour Road, Harbour Road, Wyndham on 24 Jun, 2026 9:00 AM. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
