About this tender
Overview The Shire of Augusta Margaret River requires the services of appropriately qualified respondents for the advertising in newspapers. The Shire intends to recruit a panel of suppliers to ensure that its advertising is published in multiple local news sources, achieving the largest possible reach of information. Advertising placement will be shared between successful proponents for the duration of the contract(s), at the discretion of the Shire. Scope The scope includes: Placement of a weekly flexible advert space for a full page Shire News notice Placement of display ads, classifieds, inserts, or other ads as required Publication of both statutory and promotional advertising Publishing Shire News content provided by the Shire's communications team, in line with the supplier's publishing deadlines Running Shire News on the same page for the period of the contract, with page spills placed on the best available page at the time the content is received Noting a reference number against each Shire News ad booking for invoicing purposes Accepting bookings for the Shire's display advertising, classifieds, inserts, or other special advertising Providing best available page placement at the time of booking for ad hoc advertising, noting the Shire's preference for early EGN placement unless otherwise indicated Noting a booking reference number against each ad hoc booking for invoicing purposes Instructions to Tenderers Tender documents must be obtained after registration. Tender enquiries should be directed via the online forum. Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon completion. The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Shire staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
