Provision of the Albany Regional Town Bus Service

Overview The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking an appropriately experienced and qualified service provider to provide the Albany Regional Town Bus Service. Scope The scope includes: Provision of bus services in the Albany Service Area Maintenance of approved buses Mechanical services Collection of gross cash fare revenue on behalf of the PTA Meeting the obligations of the depot lease(s) Any service connected with or otherwise required by the contract Contract Terms and Conditions The current contract for the provision of this service expires on 3 July 2027 The new contract, the subject of this Request for Tender (RFT), will commence on 4 July 2027 Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A mandatory briefing and bus inspection session will be held for all potential tenderers. Date: Wednesday, 18 November 2026 Time: 11:00 AM Location: Albany Bus Depot A site visit will also be held at 7 Barker Road, Albany on 18 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Tenderers who fail to attend or be represented at the mandatory briefing shall be excluded from consideration under this RFT. Attendance at the briefing is a prerequisite to submission and consideration of a bid. Attendees at the briefing, depot and bus inspection session are requested to supply their own high-visibility vests and enclosed shoes for these sessions.
