About this tender

Overview The WA Police Force, in partnership with the WA Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) and the WA Department of Health (DoH), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as part of the development of a single, unified Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Public Safety Network (PSN) in Western Australia. About The initiative responds to the increasing challenges associated with outdated and fragmented networks, duplicated infrastructure, non-compliant spectrum, uneven coverage and limited interoperability. Purpose The WA Police Force is issuing this RFI to engage with industry and obtain information that will support the ongoing refinement and validation of the assumptions, delivery approaches and implementation considerations underpinning the WA PSN Program. At this stage, this is a Request for Information only. There is no guarantee that a public tender process will proceed as a result of this RFI. Tender Briefing The WA Police Force will launch the RFI by hosting a briefing to interested parties, expected one week after the RFI is released. Further instructions on how to register for the invitation to the briefing will be sent early the following week via an addendum. Format: Virtual briefing Date and time: To be advised Instructions to Tenderers To ensure notification when further addenda are released, respondents should ensure their business is correctly registered on Tenders WA and that their details are up to date. How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
