About this tender

The Town of Port Hedland manages and maintains a network of thirteen (13) unsealed roads that provide essential access for residential, industrial, pastoral, remote area, and emergency service users. Due to heavy vehicle traffic and seasonal weather conditions, the roads require ongoing maintenance to address deterioration such as corrugations, rutting, and surface deformation. This contract covers the provision of routine and responsive grading services for nominated unsealed roads and three (3) firebreaks within the Town’s jurisdiction. Works include grading and maintenance activities to restore road profiles, improve drainage, maintain safe access, and extend the operational life of the gravel road network. The services support safe, reliable, and efficient transport access for the community, industry, and emergency response operations. Approximately 119.3 km of the Town’s unsealed road network at thirteen (13) locations, and 9.5 km of firebreaks at three (3) locations. Term of Contract - Three (3) Years Initial Term Extensions - One (1) year + One (1) year
