About this tender

Overview The Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) invites tenders for the design and construction of distributed rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and associated control systems at nominated sites at the Geordie Bay, Fays Bay and Longreach Bay visitor accommodation units on Rottnest Island/Wadjemup. Scope The scope includes: Design and construction of distributed rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at the nominated sites Design and construction of battery energy storage systems (BESS) at the nominated sites Design and construction of associated control systems at the nominated sites Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Tenderers must attend a mandatory site visit and briefing. Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a tender. Date: Friday 24th July 2026 Time: 10:00am to 11:00am Location: Rottnest Island, meet at RIA Staff Hub Office (behind Dome Café) Attendance must be confirmed no later than 2:00 pm on 23rd July 2026 via email to nadun.desilva@dbca.wa.gov.au. Tenderers are responsible for all costs of transportation to and from Rottnest Island, including all ferry travel arrangements.
