Karnet Prison Farm requires the on-going supply and delivery for cuts of pork meat and sheep meat both of which will be further processed by the abattoir on site. Respondents will be able to tender to supply and deliver one or both types of meat (pork and/or sheep). Pork meat: The pork meat requirements are estimated to be: Pork shoulder trim 90CL for approximately 700 kg per week, 52 weeks per year. Pork shoulder boneless, rind on for approximately 1,800 kg per week, 52 weeks per year. Sheep meat: The sheep meat requirements are estimated to be: Mutton short loin for an estimated usage over a three-month period is 1,500 kgs. Mutton forequarters, square cut for an estimated usage over a three-month period is 3,000 kgs. Note: The estimated contract usage provided is only a historical indication of usage during the period stated above and may not be representative of future requirements. Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis to meet the demand at the time, and the Department of Justice does not guarantee any volume of orders during the period of the contract.
