About this tender
The North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) has a requirement for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and validation of two (2) Low Temperature Sterilisers and associated accessories, consumables, training, and ongoing service and maintenance for Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH). The SCGH Central Sterilisation Service Department (CSSD) cleans and sterilises all reusable products and instruments in accordance with standard AS/NZS 5369:2023. Currently SCGH has two (2) Low Temperature Sterilisers are at the end of their product life. The devices are used to sterilise heat sensitive reusable products and instruments such as endoscopes and camera heads that cannot be autoclaved. The scope requirements include but are not limited to: a) the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of two (2) Low Temperature Sterilisers b) standard accessories necessary for the complete and proper functioning of the offered Low Temperature Sterilisers c) provision of consumables where applicable d) minimum twelve (12) month warranty e) yearly validation f) post-warranty service and maintenance for up to nine (9) years; and g) provision of in-service, education and training for the clinical users/ operators, including the correct and efficient operation of the equipment. Consumables for the specified equipment may be accessed via an existing Whole of Health contract – HCNS119214 which currently expires on 30 April 2027. Consumables are not intended to be included under this Contract until the abovementioned Contract expires, after which NMHS may access consumables under this contract.
