Support and Maintenance of Specialist Systems

Overview This is an early notification of an upcoming tender, not the tender itself. The Western Australia Police Force (the WA Police Force) is planning to engage suitably skilled and experienced Contractor(s) to provide ICT Services relating to specialist systems, inclusive of infrastructure and application services, primarily within the Perth metropolitan area. The estimated tender release date is late March 2026. About The WA Police Force is committed to being an exceptional Police Force for the community by responding quickly to unforeseen events, changing circumstances, and placing its people and resources where they are needed most in the community. Underpinning operations is a large, complex Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and application landscape. Within this area of policing there is a subsection of Protected and Secret classified specialist systems which require ongoing support and maintenance. Scope The scope includes: Provision of ICT services relating to specialist systems, inclusive of infrastructure and application services Ongoing support and maintenance of Protected and Secret classified specialist systems Delivery of services primarily within the Perth metropolitan area Contractor Requirements All members of the relevant subsection team must hold a Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) clearance To obtain NV2, an individual must be an Australian Citizen and pass an extensive vetting process, including extensive background checks, financial checks, and character reviews An NV2 clearance can enable ongoing support of classified systems pertaining up to and including Top Secret information Tender Briefing The WA Police Force will conduct an industry Pre-Tender Briefing to provide a high-level overview of the procurement and specifically the security requirements. Date: 19 February 2026 Time: 8:30 AM Format: Virtual briefing Prospective Respondents should register their attendance for the pre-tender briefing by email to tom.bryan@dohw.wa.gov.au by close of business Tuesday 17 February 2026, providing the name, job title, company, and email address for each attendee registered. Attendance is at the prospective Respondent's own expense. This is the only nominated Pre-Tender Briefing session and no individual pre-tender briefings will be undertaken.
