Overview The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking a highly experienced Team Lead – SAP BASIS and System Administration / Senior SAP BASIS Specialist to provide operational, project and technical governance support across the Department's enterprise SAP landscape. The Role The role is responsible for the administration, security, performance, availability and continuous improvement of SAP platforms including SAP ECC 6.0, SAP BW, SAP GRC, SAP HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Integration Suite and associated SAP cloud services. The successful contractor will provide senior technical leadership and hands-on SAP BASIS expertise, ensuring alignment with departmental ICT governance, cyber security obligations, change and release management processes, and strategic SAP transformation initiatives, including SAP cloud adoption and future SAP S/4HANA programs. The role will work closely with: Business stakeholders Shared Services providers Infrastructure service providers Cyber security teams Project delivery teams Digital Operations Enterprise Architecture SAP vendors This engagement supports ongoing stability, compliance, security and optimisation of the SAP environment. Role Requirements At least fifteen years' experience in SAP BASIS administration within large and complex SAP environments Extensive experience supporting SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP GRC, SAP HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP cloud technologies Proven capability in technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, enterprise SAP operations, platform upgrades, integrations, cloud services and large-scale SAP transformation initiatives Experience operating within highly regulated environments with strong governance, audit, privacy and cyber security requirements
