1 Senior SAP Developer

Overview The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) is seeking a Senior SAP Developer to join the Corporate Systems Team within the Information Technology Services Branch. About The Corporate Systems Team is responsible for the configuration, management, support and ongoing enhancement of Austrade's core corporate platforms, including SAP, Aurion and TM1. The team supports critical finance, procurement and corporate business operations, while contributing technical expertise to system improvement and broader ERP planning activities. The Role The Senior SAP Developer will work closely with Corporate Systems specialists and stakeholders across Finance, Procurement and other business areas to deliver and support SAP solutions. The role includes: Requirements gathering, application design, coding and testing Technical documentation and production support Development of reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms Analysis and resolution of issues in custom and standard SAP programs Improving the performance of existing code Triaging SAP support requests Role Requirements Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy Ability to translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose technical solutions Ability to provide sound technical advice to business stakeholders Ability to support knowledge transfer and technical capability within the team Ability to contribute to the ongoing stability, security and improvement of Austrade's SAP environment Enquiries Buyer contact: Recruitment.its@austrade.gov.au
