Overview The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Simplified Targeting and Enhanced Processing Systems (STEPS) program within the Digital Business Division. About The Digital Business Division (DBD) is the custodian of the customer experience, ensuring seamless, secure, and trusted interactions for agricultural trade and biosecurity. This covers permits, audits, certifications, declarations, and compliance checks, with platforms and products that connect industry and government. The Division is unifying and modernising its systems and building re-usable digital capabilities to give customers a unified service experience, one place to access government services anytime, anywhere. Purpose The purpose of the Digital Business Division is to deliver digital and data services that make agricultural cross border trade and travel easier, safer, and stronger for Australia, and to enable industry to spend less time on paperwork and more time growing, producing, and trading. The Role The Senior Business Analyst will join a multi-disciplinary team within the STEPS program. The role includes: Performing analysis on how digital services and products being developed can better meet user needs Working closely with the Program Manager, Product Manager, and relevant business areas Engaging with external users to develop high value digital services and products, keeping user needs at the forefront Enquiries Buyer contact: DBDProcurement@aff.gov.au, Digital Business Division.
