Overview The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is seeking 1 x APS6 Data Engineer as a labour hire worker to support and maintain enterprise data assets across cloud and EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) environments. About Data Engineers prepare raw data for analytical or operational uses. They make data accessible so that it can be used for optimisation, delivery of services and enhanced analytics solutions. The Role The APS6 Operations Data Engineer operates under limited direction to support and maintain enterprise data assets across cloud and EDW environments. The role focuses on BAU operational support, including daily data delivery, month-end processing, and responding to data-related requests, while also contributing to continuous improvement of data pipelines and processes. The position works closely with business and technical teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery and operational stability. Role Requirements The proposed rate should reflect the candidate's skills and experience against the Evaluation Criteria Candidates that do not demonstrate these criteria will not be assessed Candidates should be aware that rates may be negotiated further as part of the selection process Eligibility As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, the NDIA seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only. Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check. A Labour Hire Licence is applicable for ACT, VIC and QLD: labour hire licences are required in the state that specified personnel are being contracted.
