ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The Gilgandra local government area is situated in the central west of NSW and covers an area of 4,800 square kilometres, including the township of Gilgandra and three smaller villages of Tooraweenah, Armatree and Curban. Gilgandra is located on the junction of the Newell, Oxley, and Castlereagh Highways. It is 432 km north-west of Sydney and 60 km north of Dubbo and is located approximately halfway on the inland route from Melbourne to Brisbane. Gilgandra Shire Council (Council) provides a diverse range of services including infrastructure, environmental services, community facilities, development services, health services, regulatory functions, and corporate governance. All Council functions utilise and rely upon multi-vendor Information & Communications Technology (ICT) systems. ABOUT THE TENDER: Council is seeking a Strategic Partner (ICT Managed Services) capable of supporting the progressive uplift, governance maturity and standardisation of the ICT environment over the life of the contract. This includes demonstrating the capability to design, implement and manage a secure, scalable and supportable Microsoft 365-based desktop Standard Operating Environment (SOE) aligned to Council's operational, governance, cyber security and lifecycle management objectives. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
