This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking one Senior Salesforce DevOps professional. Salesforce DevOps professionals bridge the gap between development and operational teams. They are responsible for setting up and managing the environments, tooling, and architecture for the operation of project development and test environments, as well as the software configuration management processes for the entire application development lifecycle. The Role The role includes: Performing environment provisioning as part of the project delivery lifecycle Coordinating with various teams (architecture, development, testing) to support the project Setting up CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments and running the CI/CD tooling platform Supporting development streams with code management, code sync, and deployment execution Defining and governing CI/CD processes for the project (branching, developer tools onboarding, best practices, etc.) Providing subject matter expertise on matters relating to Salesforce DevOps Adopting an automation-first mindset Maintaining configuration across environments and ensuring all configuration changes are made via code rather than manually implemented Being responsible for the end to end project delivery of new domains in a dynamic, agile environment, including project mobilisation, process design, system configuration and customisation, testing, integration, data migration, deployment, and business adoption activities Role Requirements Ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems Understanding of the strategic direction set by project leadership as it relates to team goals Ability to use considerable judgment to determine solutions and seek guidance on complex problems Primary upward interaction with direct supervisor May interact with peers and/or management levels in the project or other teams
