Overview The Department of Education (NSW) is seeking a provider for the delivery of Aboriginal language and culture teaching across seven OCHRE Language and Culture Nest sites in NSW. Purpose The service supports delivery of the Aboriginal Language and Culture Nest Program as a community led Aboriginal Language revitalisation initiative. The program facilitates Aboriginal Language learning and teaching in NSW public schools in partnership with local Aboriginal communities and other relevant stakeholders, while supporting the preservation, strengthening, and intergenerational transmission of Aboriginal Languages and cultural knowledge. Scope The scope includes: Provision of Aboriginal language and culture teaching across seven OCHRE Language and Culture Nest sites in NSW Delivery under a new service agreement to ensure continuity and effective delivery of Aboriginal Language and Culture teaching across the seven established Nest footprints Tender Briefing A tender briefing will be held via Microsoft Teams online.
