About this tender
Overview The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), including Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW), is seeking the provision of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services. The EAP provides counselling and support services for employees of the Department and CSNSW, and their immediate family members. Purpose DCJ, including CSNSW, is seeking EAP services to support the health, wellbeing and resilience of its workforce. The EAP will provide confidential counselling, psychological support, wellbeing services and related assistance to employees of DCJ and CSNSW, and their immediate family members. Objectives The objective of the EAP is to provide timely, professional and confidential support to assist with personal, work-related and wellbeing concerns. Services must be accessible, relevant and responsive to the diverse needs of employees and their families, including those located in rural and remote areas, Aboriginal employees, employees from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and individuals with additional needs, including those who are neurodiverse. The EAP is intended to promote employee wellbeing, early intervention and support for issues that may impact health, safety, performance or workplace participation. Services must be delivered through a range of accessible channels to ensure equitable access and effective support across the Department's diverse workforce. Scope The successful supplier will deliver a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees of DCJ, including CSNSW, and their immediate family members. The scope of services includes: Counselling Services: Confidential counselling and psychological support for employees and their immediate family members through a range of accessible delivery channels Critical Incident Support: Timely response services following critical incidents, including psychological first aid, counselling and other appropriate interventions Workforce Support Services: Workplace support services such as mediation, facilitated discussions, wellbeing checks, manager support and related services that contribute to a healthy and productive workforce Training and Development: Training and capability-building programs that support employee wellbeing, mental health awareness, resilience, psychological safety and leadership capability Reporting: Regular and ad hoc reporting on service utilisation, trends and insights, while maintaining confidentiality and privacy requirements Services must be accessible across metropolitan, regional and remote locations and responsive to the diverse needs of the Department's workforce, including Aboriginal employees, culturally and linguistically diverse employees, and individuals with additional needs, including those who are neurodiverse.
