About this tender

Overview Hunter Water Corporation is seeking a contractor to deliver acoustic network monitoring and leak detection services across its area of operation for the period 2027 to 2030. Scope The scope includes: Identification of leaks across the Principal's area of operation Surveying water supply networks for leaks, including visual and acoustic examination of all surface fittings (valves and hydrants) and property service connections Continuation of Active Leak Detection (ALD) 'walk the line' surveys Introduction of a 'lift and shift' acoustic logger monitoring program Deployment, monitoring, maintenance and redeployment of fixed acoustic loggers on a District Metered Area (DMA) by DMA 'lift and shift' basis Supporting DMA commissioning, DMA boundary validation and establishment of baseline Minimum Night Flow (MNF) values for ongoing leakage performance monitoring Continuous monitoring and analysis of acoustic logger data Undertaking targeted ALD where required to confirm suspected leak events Reporting confirmed leak locations to the Principal through agreed systems and workflows to enable prioritisation and repair through standard network maintenance procedures Delivery of survey and monitoring work in batches based on suburbs, DMAs, PMAs or other operational priorities Contract Terms and Conditions The Principal reserves the right to ramp survey and logger deployment activity up or down in response to drought, operational needs and ongoing network performance Contractor Requirements Hunter Water's ideal objective is a solution delivered through a single provider, however a multi-supplier approach may be adopted where tenders received clearly demonstrate strength in only ALD or only acoustic logger monitoring with loggers Under a multi-supplier arrangement, a strong supplier of ALD may be engaged separately to a strong supplier of acoustic logger monitoring to maximise potential leakage reduction through both activities Where a multi-supplier arrangement is implemented, both suppliers must demonstrate a willingness and ability to collaborate effectively to achieve the desired outcomes of the program

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
