Overview Transport for NSW is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from prequalified contractors for the construction of the Avoca Drive Upgrade GC21 Contract, covering the section of Avoca Drive from Willesee Crescent to Joalah Road. Objectives TfNSW's objectives for the project are: Improve safety for all transport customers using the corridor Improve and provide reliable travel times along Avoca Drive Improve and encourage active transport by providing well-connected facilities for walking and cycling Support public transport access, operations and customer experience to encourage this as a viable mode choice Maintain safe and efficient access for adjacent properties and local roads, including for freight movements Scope The scope includes: Construction of the Avoca Drive Upgrade GC21 Contract, comprising civil infrastructure work related to the road upgrade Utilities works Pavement works Traffic signals works Footpath works Collaboration with TfNSW and their designer, GHD Pty Ltd, through a design finalisation phase Additional information on the project is available on the TfNSW website: nswroads.work/avocadr Contractor Requirements Prequalification with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification Scheme at Roadworks R3 (or higher) Prequalification at Financial Level F25 (or higher) Tender Briefing A mandatory EOI briefing will be held as follows: Date: Monday, 20 July 2026 Time: 1:00pm Format: Virtual briefing Mandatory: Yes RSVP: Applicants must register at least 2 days prior via email to the Contact Officer Restrictions: Limited to 3 attendees per Applicant Instructions to Tenderers Applicants will need to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed, in accordance with the instructions in that deed, to the contact officer at Construction.Tenders@transport.nsw.gov.au prior to being given access to the Expression of Interest (EOI) documents. The EOI documents will be available to download from the BuyNSW website. This opportunity is not expected to lead to the award of a contract, or the award details will be advertised elsewhere.
