Overview Bayside City Council (NSW) is hosting its Diwali Festival at King Street Mall, Rockdale, on Friday 6 November 2026 from 5 to 10pm. The event is a vibrant night celebration featuring light displays, authentic cuisine and cultural performances showcasing the richness of Indian culture. The festival will feature Bollywood dancing, traditional cultural performances, henna art, craft workshops, rangoli displays, authentic Indian cuisine and sweet treats, Diwali-themed children's activities, as well as Dhol drummers and roaming entertainers. The event celebrates Bayside's rich cultural diversity, with residents and visitors encouraged to dress in their brightest colours and immerse themselves in an authentic Diwali experience. Attendees can look forward to an evening of food, music and community celebration.
