Overview Hort Innovation is inviting suitably qualified and experienced respondents to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to co-design and deliver an investment for Building Market Access Pathways for the Rubus Industry (RB26002). About Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in Research and Development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community. Purpose This project concept was developed in consultation with industry stakeholders and informed by the Berry Export Strategy 2028 and the Rubus Technical Market Access Strategy 2022, which have identified priority areas for future investment. Scope The scope includes co-designing and delivering an investment covering the following priority areas: Technical market access R&D to support priority rubus export markets Methyl bromide fumigation data packages for raspberries and blackberries against Queensland fruit fly DAFF-ready technical evidence to support future market access submissions Instructions to Tenderers Hort Innovation has prepared an EOI document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process, and the information required from interested parties.
