Overview Hawkesbury City Council is seeking a design and construct contractor for Stage 2 of the Deerubbin Park Floodlight Upgrade, covering the backfields. About Deerubbin Park is a district sporting facility supporting organised sporting activities and community recreation. The backfield area currently contains no floodlighting infrastructure and is intended to be upgraded as part of future sporting improvements identified within the adopted Deerubbin Park Masterplan. Purpose The purpose of this project is to investigate, validate, design and deliver new floodlighting infrastructure for the currently unlit backfields at Deerubbin Park to support future district-level sporting use. Scope The scope includes: Design and construction of new floodlighting infrastructure for the backfield area at Deerubbin Park Accommodating sufficient space for one modified field and one senior field within the backfield area Confirming final field alignment in accordance with the adopted Deerubbin Park Masterplan prior to detailed design Designing all proposed works to ensure resilience to flood inundation and future flood events, given the whole site is located within the 1 in 5-year flood extent Considering arboricultural constraints and minimising impacts to existing vegetation and tree assets when determining pole locations, trenching alignments, electrical infrastructure placement and access requirements Validating environmental planning approval requirements prior to progression to detailed design Assessing Review of Environmental Factors (REF) applicability prior to progression to detailed design Assessing arboricultural impacts and protection requirements prior to progression to detailed design Assessing utility and service constraints prior to progression to detailed design Confirming constructability within the adopted masterplan layout prior to progression to detailed design Enquiries Primary contact: Liberty O'Brien, procurement@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au
