Overview Camden Council invites tenders for Design Consultancy Services for the Leppington Community Centre Precinct. About As part of the southwest growth area, Council is developing a new Open Space Precinct located in Leppington, on the northern edge of the Camden Local Government Area (LGA). The site is strategically important to Camden due to its location in Leppington, one of Council's emerging growth precincts. The development of this site will be the first open space along with key community buildings delivered to serve the new community of Leppington, marking an important milestone in the transformation of the North of the Camden LGA. The Leppington Open Space Precinct (LOSP) Masterplan, endorsed by Council in September 2022, identifies the development of the following project sites: LOSP Project 1: Priority Works at sites 1B1 (Part) and 1B3 LOSP Project 2: Tennis Precinct at Site 1A2 LOSP Project 3: Linear Park and District Park at Sites 1B2 and 1C LOSP Project 4: Sports Precinct at Site 1A1 LOSP Project 5: Scalabrini Creek and Drainage Basins at Sites 1B1 (Part) LOSP Project 6: Community Centre Precinct at Site 1A3 LOSP Project 7: Scalabrini Creek and Drainage Basins at Site 1D Purpose This Request for Tender (RFT) seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Lead Design Consultant to lead a multidisciplinary team of specialist consultants for the design and documentation of LOSP Project 6, the Community Centre Precinct at Site 1A3. Scope The scope includes: Provision of consultancy services for the design of the Leppington Community Centre Facility, covering Concept Design, Design Development, Construct Only Tender Documentation, and Construction Services Support Provision of all relevant design documentation to support a construct only contract to be tendered Leading and directly engaging a multidisciplinary team of specialist consultants to deliver the full detailed design and tender documentation of the Community Centre Precinct in accordance with the requirements of the RFT document Management of the team of sub-consultants to deliver the overall design brief Contractor Requirements Competent and experienced head/principal Architectural design consultant Suitably qualified and experienced Lead Design Consultant capable of leading a multidisciplinary consultant team Enquiries Contact: Diane Ross Email: quotes@camden.nsw.gov.au Phone: 132263
