Location: Harris Park City of Parramatta Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from eligible organisations to act as the lead organiser for one Diwali event in Harris Park in 2026. The EOI will identify a single preferred lead organiser who can deliver a high-quality, culturally appropriate and well-managed Diwali celebration while managing impacts on residents, local businesses, traffic, pedestrian movement, noise, waste, safety and use of the public domain. Please note: selection through this EOI does not provide final event approval. The successful applicant will still need to complete Council’s event approval process, submit all required documentation, pay all applicable fees and bonds, and meet all permit conditions before the event can proceed. Council welcomes enquiries from prospective applicants. Applicants may submit questions, seek clarification, or request a site visit to inform their submission.
