Overview The City of Parramatta Council is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified consultant to undertake a Domestic Waste Service Costing Review. About The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences. Scope The scope includes: Financial sustainability and pricing modelling for the Domestic Waste Management Fee Benchmarking and comparative analysis against similar sized councils Development of a pricing strategy to drive behaviour change Customer testing and engagement of the proposed pricing model A report outlining a recommended Domestic Waste Management Fee pricing model A pricing strategy to encourage behavioural change A comparative analysis of current and proposed fees against those of similar sized councils Contractor Requirements Experienced and suitably qualified consultant in domestic waste service costing and pricing Contract Terms and Conditions Contract term of two months Completion required by December 2026, subject to Council's acceptance of the final report Instructions to Tenderers Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box.
