Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to understand the market for Enterprise Architecture platforms that can help APRA create a single trusted repository of architecture information across its business, applications, data, technology, risks and transformation initiatives. APRA is not selecting a supplier through this process but is conducting market research to inform future decisions. Purpose Architecture information is currently spread across multiple systems, projects and documents, making it difficult for APRA to obtain a complete and reliable view of its technology landscape, risks, dependencies and future-state roadmaps. The tool is intended to improve technology governance, portfolio management, strategic planning and decision-making. Information Requested Conditions for Participation Respondents must clearly state if they have resellers or implementation partners on the BuyICT panels, as this may impact future procurements Responses should indicate the respondent's ability to attend a virtual meeting in November 2026, if invited, to demonstrate products and/or services Responses will not be formally evaluated. APRA may invite respondents to a virtual meeting to demonstrate their products and/or services in November 2026. The outcomes of the product demonstrations will be used to inform APRA of the services available and indicative costings, for potential future approaches to market. Instructions to Tenderers In early 2027, APRA will consider its future approach based on the outcomes of this RFI. Responses should be lodged to: procurement@apra.gov.au
How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
