About this tender

Overview Western NSW PHN is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably experienced organisations and providers interested in supporting after-hours care across the Dubbo region. This EOI is intended to identify interested parties that may have practical, sustainable approaches that could make effective use of existing service capability and partnerships. Objectives The EOI seeks proposals that: Identify interested organisations Respond to identified local need and service gaps Build on existing local services, workforce and referral pathways where possible Scope Applicants are encouraged to propose an approach that is responsive to local circumstances and assists adaptation or expansion of an existing service model, partnership approaches, or other locally appropriate solutions. The EOI is not intended to prescribe a single delivery model. Funding This EOI is intended to understand what organisations may be able to contribute to strengthening after-hours care in Dubbo, including existing workforce, services, infrastructure, partnerships and other practical support. There is no funding directly attached to this EOI. Where a proposed approach identifies a need for financial support, Western NSW PHN may explore potential funding options, subject to available budget, demonstrated need and appropriate approvals. Submission of an EOI does not guarantee funding, selection or a future contract. Eligibility General practices or organisations with the interest, workforce, or capacity to contribute to after-hours care in Dubbo are encouraged to submit an EOI setting out what they could realistically deliver, support, or partner in. How to Apply EOIs will be reviewed and all applicants will be contacted to discuss their submission in further detail. Applicants interested in supporting planning and participating in stakeholder discussions will have the opportunity to attend information sessions. Applicants are encouraged to review the EOI guidelines: Find out more The application form can be accessed here: Please access the Application Form here Enquiries Contact: Clarissa Kelly, Program Manager Primary Care Access Phone: 0461 568 533 Email: clarissa.kelly@wnswphn.org.au

How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
