Overview Tamworth Regional Council invites Interested Parties to lodge an Expression of Interest for the proposed lease of Hangar 6 at Tamworth Regional Airport, located at 36 Shand Circuit, Westdale, being Part Lot 31 DP 826112. About Hangar 6 is an aircraft hangar approximately 690m2 in size, located in close proximity to the airport terminal and terminal car park. The hangar includes the following features: Airside and ground side access Kitchenette, office and reception area Men's and women's toilet and separate shower Purpose Council is seeking submissions from proponents who can effectively utilise the hangar facilities, with particular emphasis on proposals that demonstrate the capacity to actively contribute to the activation of the airport precinct and the wider local economy. Information Requested Interested Parties are encouraged to outline how their proposed use will generate employment opportunities, attract investment, increase aviation or related commercial activity, and deliver tangible economic benefits to the Tamworth region.
