Fencing Supply and Installation

Overview Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking to establish a panel of experienced and qualified fencing service providers to supply, deliver and install fencing for reactive and new fencing works. About Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 35% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 217,000, Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. The city's population is expected to grow by 39,000 by 2041, creating a demand for 12,000 new dwellings and associated infrastructure. Scope The scope includes: Supply, delivery and installation of fencing for reactive and new fencing works Planned, reactive and emergency maintenance and construction work relating to fencing services Delivery of works at Council buildings, park facilities and park reserves within the Lake Macquarie Local Government Area, including libraries, community halls, operational buildings, public amenities, park facilities and cemeteries Contractor Requirements Fencing service providers must be experienced and qualified to ensure the proper, safe and efficient operation of Council facilities used by a variety of stakeholders and community members Instructions to Tenderers RFT documents may be obtained by registering on the e-tendering portal. Enquiries should be directed to Brendon O'Donnell, the Procurement Officer, via the online forum. Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box. No hard copy submissions will be accepted. In preparing and submitting the tender, and without limiting the tenderer's obligations, the tenderer must submit a tender that includes all schedules, including the Tenderer's Declaration Schedule and any other required declaration, completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer must not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed, and must not engage in any form of collusive practice or directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time. Late submissions are not accepted. The lowest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted.
