About this tender
Overview Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking experienced and qualified contractors to provide park management services for Sails and Belmont Lakeside Holiday Parks. About Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 35% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 217,000, Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. The city's population is expected to grow by 39,000 by 2041, creating demand for 12,000 new dwellings and associated infrastructure. Scope The scope includes: Provision of park management services for Sails Holiday Park Provision of park management services for Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park Tenderers may submit for either or both service categories and are encouraged to identify any pricing efficiencies or value-added benefits available through the award of multiple services. Council may award services to a single contractor or multiple contractors based on value for money, service capability and operational requirements. Indicative park usage data for FY2025/26 is provided in the Scope of Works appendices. Contract Terms and Conditions Separate contracts will be awarded for each park Both contract terms are aligned to expire on 31 May 2031 Instructions to Tenderers Tender documents may be obtained by registering on the e-tendering portal at www.tenderlink.com/lakemac. Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box or in a sealed envelope. The envelope is to be endorsed with the Tender number, title, and closing date, and can be mailed or placed in the Tender Box located in Council's Administration Building, Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point, by the nominated time and date. In the preparation and submission of the tender, and without limiting the Tenderer's obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules, including the Tenderer's Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required, completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed, nor engage in any form of collusive practice, nor directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
