About this tender
Overview NSW Ambulance, via HealthShare NSW, is requesting proposals for the provision of Paramedics Income Protection Insurance required as part of the 'NSW Ambulance Death and Income Protection Benefits (State) Reviewed Award 2022'. Purpose The purpose of the tender is to: Ensure an income protection insurance policy that meets the needs of Paramedics cover under the Award Achieve sustainable and competitive premiums Secure a rate guarantee period of at least 24 months Appoint an insurance partner that delivers proactive and supportive claims management, high-quality insights and meaningful reporting to support informed decision-making and the strategic objectives of the People and Culture team at NSW Ambulance Scope The successful Insurer must provide cover that is fully compliant with the requirements of the NSW Ambulance Death and Income Protection Benefits (State) Reviewed Award 2022, including the payment of income protection benefits for both on-duty and off-duty illness and injury in accordance with the Award. The scope includes: Claims management and administration services Eligible employee support services Reporting and analytics services Account management and governance services Continuous improvement and innovation initiatives Further detail is provided in the NSWA_2024_43 Part B - Tender Specifications and NSWA_2024_43 NSW Ambulance Data documents.
