Indigenous Business Verification and Support Services

Overview The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is seeking the provision of a national, independent Indigenous business verification service and related functions (Services) to support the implementation of Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) reforms. Objectives Support the Commonwealth Government's efforts to increase participation of genuine Indigenous business in Commonwealth procurement Provide the Commonwealth Government and the public with access to accurate, up-to-date and trusted information on Indigenous Enterprises against the Commonwealth Government's IPP eligibility criteria Support integrity, transparency and fairness in the application of the strengthened IPP eligibility criteria Work collaboratively with the NIAA to support stakeholders transition from the original IPP eligibility criteria to the strengthened criteria Contract Terms and Conditions Timeframe for delivery: 3 years from date of contract commencement, with two option periods of 12 months each in duration Tender Briefing Date: Thursday 20 August 2026 Time: 10:30am Registration for the briefing is required. Tenderers must provide a completed Deed of Confidentiality and individual deed polls of relevant personnel (Attachment E) to the Contact Officer at IPPtenders@niaa.gov.au by 2pm Tuesday 18 August 2026 (AEST) to attend the Industry Briefing. Deeds of Confidentiality received after this time may not be accepted by NIAA. Attendance at the Industry Briefing is not compulsory. Instructions to Tenderers Conditions for Participation: Registration for the Industry Briefing requires tenderers to provide a completed Deed of Confidentiality and individual deed polls of relevant personnel (Attachment E) to the Contact Officer at IPPtenders@niaa.gov.au by 2pm Tuesday 18 August 2026 (AEST).
