Overview Campbelltown City Council is inviting tenders for inclusion on a panel for Minor and Major Landscape Works Including Play Space Projects. Tenderers will need to demonstrate they have the necessary qualifications, ability and experience to provide the required works to Council. About Campbelltown is located on Dharawal Country, framed by the Nepean and Georges Rivers, approximately 55 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD. It is the key commercial centre servicing the Macarthur region, with strong connections to the Illawarra region and the rest of Western Sydney. The Local Government Area spans 31,200 hectares, including extensive bushland and waterways, with Dharawal and Warranmadhaa National Parks nearby. Campbelltown is one of the fastest-growing regions in Australia, home to more than 180,000 residents, with population projected to reach around 250,000 by 2036. This growth is supported by significant housing development, major infrastructure investment, and expanding employment opportunities. Thirty-one percent of residents were born overseas, and over sixty percent have parents who were born overseas. The principal service centre of Campbelltown City Council is located at the Civic Centre in Queen Street, Campbelltown. Scope Tenderers may tender for the provision of one or more of the following categories, as Council may appoint a panel of providers as a result of this tender. The scope includes: Category 1, Minor Landscape Works: lower-risk and lower-complexity landscape construction projects that can be undertaken by appropriately experienced landscape contractors without substantial multidisciplinary construction management requirements Category 2, Major Landscape Works and Recreation Work: generally larger, higher complexity or multidisciplinary projects requiring significant construction management capability, specialist subcontractor coordination, management of interfaces, or broader responsibility for delivery of a complete landscape, recreation, play space, park, streetscape, or public domain project Contractor Requirements Tenderers must demonstrate the necessary qualifications, ability and experience to provide the required works to Council Contract Terms and Conditions The panel will be formed under a deed of standing offer for an initial period of three years, with two options for extension of 12 months each.
