About this tender

Overview Central Darling Shire Council is seeking a suitable contractor to deliver mobile crushing and screening services to various gravel pits within the Central Darling Shire Council area. Scope The scope includes: Supply of all plant, equipment, labour, supervision, fuel, maintenance and associated resources necessary to undertake the crushing, screening and stockpiling of gravel and road-making materials Mobilisation and demobilisation of crushing and screening equipment Crushing of Council-supplied source material to nominated specifications Screening and production of various gravel and aggregate sizes Stockpiling and management of finished products Maintenance of safe work practices and environmental compliance throughout the contract period Provision of production reporting and quality assurance records The materials produced will be used for the maintenance, rehabilitation and construction of Council's road network and other infrastructure works. In a typical year for maintenance, Council will require up to 30,000 tonnes of 40mm crushed gravel, with additional volumes required if Council is successful with capital grant funding applications for larger scale roadworks.
