Overview Transport for NSW has issued an early notice for the HW17, Newell Highway Flood Mitigation West Wyalong to Forbes project, ahead of a future procurement of Detailed Design Services for an 11km stretch of highway known as the Marsden area. Purpose The HW17, Newell Highway Flood Mitigation West Wyalong to Forbes project requires a supplier to complete the Detailed Design Services and tender documentation for the 11km of highway known as the Marsden area. Scope TfNSW will be seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced tenderers for the provision of Detailed Design Services. The required services will be outlined in the Scope of Services and General Requirements document, which will form part of the RFT package once available for publication. Contractor Requirements Respondents (either individually, including subcontractors, or in combination if a joint venture is proposed) will be required to hold registration under the Technical Services Registration Scheme (SCM8661) in all of the following service categories: Complex Road Design Standard Bridge Design Drainage Investigation and Design (or subcontractor) Estimating Services, General (or subcontractor) Instructions to Tenderers This is an Early Notification only. Tender documents are not currently available. Formal notification will occur when the RFT is published on the buy.NSW Tenders website. Prospective tenderers will be required to complete, sign and return a Confidentiality Deed Poll (CDP). Only tenderers who have returned the CDP will be provided access to the RFT suite of documents upon release. Transport for NSW reminds potential tenderers that this is an "expected" rather than "actual" opportunity. TfNSW reserves the right to not progress further in relation to procurement of HW17, Newell Highway Flood Mitigation West Wyalong to Forbes – Detailed Design Services if deemed necessary. This early notification must not be interpreted to be confirmation that an actual procurement activity and/or RFT will occur for HW17, Newell Highway Flood Mitigation West Wyalong to Forbes – Detailed Design Services.
