Murray River Council is seeking proposals for the future purchase and redevelopment of the former Murray Shire Office site at 6 Meninya Street, Moama. Located at a prominent gateway position into Moama, the soon to be vacant site presents an opportunity for a high-quality development that delivers strong community, economic and visitor benefits for the region. Council is inviting developers and investors to participate in a two-stage Expression of Interest (EOI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Stage 1, Expression of Interest (EOI) is now open. EOI submissions should outline: • Experience and capability • Proposed concept for the site • Community and economic benefits • Financial capacity Submissions will be assessed to shortlist respondents for Stage 2 of the process. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
