Overview Narromine Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the drilling, construction and commissioning of three (3) groundwater monitoring bores. Scope The monitoring bores are to be constructed to the following minimum specifications: Drilling, construction and commissioning of three (3) groundwater monitoring bores Bore depth of 75 metres each Installation of 100 mm PVC casing Installation of stainless steel well screens Natural Gamma logging of each of the three bores Assistance with the preparation and submission of the required groundwater monitoring licence application Provision of all labour, plant, equipment and materials required to complete the works Council will dispose of all drill cuttings and any other materials associated with the drilling activities, and will arrange for the location of all underground services prior to the commencement of works. Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in the drilling, construction and commissioning of groundwater monitoring bores The contractor is to inspect the site as required and satisfy themselves as to all conditions that may affect the execution of the works All works are to be undertaken in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, NSW legislative requirements, and industry best practice Instructions to Tenderers The contractor is to provide a lump sum quotation for the complete installation of the three monitoring bores, including all labour, plant, equipment and materials required to complete the works.
