RFT26-006 Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) - Grid-Connected Solar Integration for Small Island Systems
Tender Overview
About this tender
Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) Palladium, through the Quad Infrastructure Fellowships (QIF), is seeking a supplier or consortium to design and deliver the short course Grid-Connected Solar Integration for Small Island Systems. The course will support mid-career and senior fellows from Pacific utilities, system operators, energy ministries, regulators and state-owned enterprises to strengthen practical capability in integrating grid-connected solar and storage into small island power systems. Delivery will follow a three-phase QIF model, including hybrid preparation, a five-day in-region face-to-face core phase, and hybrid post-course application with mentoring. Suppliers should demonstrate expertise in small island or remote power-system integration, protection and control, storage dispatch, SCADA and network data, energy regulation, independent power producer contracting, tariffs, battery safety, workforce development, GEDSI-inclusive delivery, monitoring and evaluation, and applied adult learning. The course will include system diagnostics, practical exercises, peer exchange and Work-Based Action Plans linked to fellows’ own infrastructure contexts. For inquires, email: procurement@infrastructurefellowships.org EOI submission closes: 11.59pm AEST (UTC+10) on 13 September 2026
How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
