Overview Weddin Shire Council is inviting proposals from suitably experienced consultants in regional event management and marketing to support the Henry Lawson Festival of Arts committee in the delivery of the Grenfell Henry Lawson Festival for 2027, 2028 and 2029. About The Henry Lawson Festival of Arts Committee is a section 355 committee of Weddin Shire Council. Weddin Shire has a population of approximately 3,700 and is located in central west New South Wales, 345km west of Sydney and 185km north of Canberra. Grenfell is the main town within the shire and is the birthplace of Henry Lawson, one of Australia's most famous poets, who was born on Grenfell's gold fields in 1867.
