Overview The Council of the City of Sydney invites tenders for the carrying out of Synthetic Sports Field Services in accordance with this Request for Tender (RFT). Scope The scope includes: Quarterly deep cleaning of the synthetic sports fields Inspections, testing and asset condition reporting Certification to maintain the synthetic fields in optimal condition for community use, with an emphasis on performance, longevity and sustainability Provision of a Schedule of Rates for field grooming services Provision of a Schedule of Rates for minor renewal works Provision of a Schedule of Rates for synthetic field repairs Contract Terms and Conditions The Contract Service Area comprises four synthetic sports fields: The Crescent Synthetic Sports Field, Getiela Synthetic Sports Field, Gunyama Synthetic Sports Field and Perry Park Synthetic Sports Field Over a Further Term, if awarded, the quantity of synthetic sports field assets managed under the Contract may grow as a result of City project delivery of a new synthetic sports field at Mandible Street, Alexandria, with the Contract varied accordingly to increase the quantity of assets managed The Initial Term of the Contract is two years, with two Further Terms of two years each The indicative Commencement Date of Service is 1 December 2026 Any Further Term will be granted at the City's discretion, determined by the Service Provider's performance The City expects the Contract to be executed during November 2026, with Contract Commencement on Tuesday 1 December 2026 The City reserves the right to adjust these dates Contractor Requirements Tenderers must demonstrate that they have the capacity and resources to deliver the Services, including when they intend to use subcontractors Instructions to Tenderers The City is committed to creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses, and encourages First Nations People businesses, Local SME, Start-ups and social enterprises (including Cooperatives) to work with the City and respond to this opportunity. The etender portal requires all users to register and then log in prior to being provided access to the tender summary and documents Tenderers should download all documentation and keep abreast of this RFT The City of Sydney cannot negotiate per the Local Government Act, so any questions or uncertainties must be submitted within the question closing time via the etender forum For proposed contract amendments, submissions must be made to the procurement representative within the timeframe specified in the RFT documentation Pricing must be submitted in the Pricing Only Tender Box Non-pricing information must be submitted in the Non Pricing Only Tender Box Pricing and non-pricing must not be submitted together in any submission document, as the evaluation panel reviews non-pricing submissions first without view of pricing; tenderers may be contacted to resolve non-compliance with this instruction Tenderers must submit their response in the manner required by this RFT
