Overview Sydney Trains invites suitably qualified and experienced companies to tender for the delivery and management of Testing, Inspection, Calibration & Servicing (TICS) services for more than 8,000 Minor Plant & Equipment (MPE) assets across its Network Maintenance Division, including asset register management. Objectives Improved safety, reliability and regulatory compliance of MPE through effective TICS management and service delivery Network-wide centralised and streamlined TICS activities, subcontractor management, scheduling, reporting and invoicing Accurate, auditable and up-to-date asset records management within the Sydney Trains 4229 Register, including service histories and compliance certification Achieving operational efficiencies and value-for-money through supplier consolidation, economies of scale, open-book management and continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring TICS activities are delivered in accordance with industry standards, OEM requirements and Sydney Trains safety requirements Delivery of a scalable and sustainable service that supports future requirements Single point accountability for end-to-end TICS management, service delivery, compliance reporting and subcontractor governance Scope Sydney Trains seeks a suitably qualified Contractor to provide end-to-end management and delivery of TICS services for MPE across the Network Maintenance Division. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating, managing and/or undertaking TICS activities for more than 8,000 assets located across 8 Network Bases, 3 Network Satellites and associated minor sites throughout the Sydney metropolitan rail network. The scope includes: Management of all TICS categories, including testing and inspection, calibration and servicing Testing, inspection, calibration and servicing of electrical testing equipment Testing, inspection, calibration and servicing of lifting and rigging equipment Testing, inspection, calibration and servicing of fall arrest equipment Testing, inspection, calibration and servicing of ladders Testing, inspection, calibration and servicing of first aid equipment Testing, inspection, calibration and servicing of meters and measuring devices Provision of test and tag services Management of OEM-specific equipment requiring authorised service providers Acting as the single point of accountability for service scheduling, subcontractor management, compliance monitoring, reporting, invoicing, risk management and continuous improvement Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in TICS management and service delivery Services must be delivered in accordance with relevant Sydney Trains standards, manufacturer requirements and applicable industry standards, including ISO/IEC 17025 and other recognised accreditation frameworks Instructions to Tenderers To gain access to the tender documents, tenderers are required to email tss.bidder@transport.nsw.gov.au and include the following information: Tender Name and Reference Number Organisation Name ACN/ABN Organisation Address Contact Person Name Contact Person Phone Number Contact Email Address Once these details are received, an invitation from Ariba Sourcing will be sent containing a link to access the tender documents.
