About this tender
Overview Camden Council is seeking a contractor to provide Tree Maintenance and Arboriculture services for trees located on Council-owned and managed land throughout the Camden Local Government Area (LGA). The services are to be delivered in accordance with the requirements set out in the Request for Tender (RFT). Scope The scope includes, but is not limited to: Branch collection and removal Simple pruning (clearance pruning) Complex pruning (deadwood removal, crown thinning/cleaning, formative pruning, and weight reduction) Tree removal Stump grinding Emergency response (storm damage response and after-hours emergency works) Tree pit mulching Pest and disease treatment Verge topdressing of exposed roots Proactive Tree Management Program Planned inspection, assessment and maintenance of designated trees and related assets. Reactive and Programmed Tree Maintenance General tree management and maintenance activities arising from community requests or as identified by Council. Contractor Requirements Inspect assigned service areas and/or carry out pruning in accordance with contract requirements, while supporting the health, functionality, and long-term management of Council's urban forest Accurately record all relevant work data and ensure all required information and data is logged into Council's Forestree Asset Management System at completion of works, including at a minimum photographs, work notes, dates of works undertaken, and any other documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with contract requirements Contract Terms and Conditions Initial contract term of three (3) years Council has the discretion to extend the contract by up to two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each Maximum potential contract term of five (5) years Enquiries Contact: Diane Ross Email: quotes@camden.nsw.gov.au Phone: 132263
