About this tender

Overview Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors to replace, supply and install three hundred (300) water meters of various sizes across multiple areas of the Wingecarribee Shire. Scope The Contractor will be responsible for all construction, installation, coordination, certification, commissioning, and compliance activities necessary to deliver the works described within the annual renewal package, including the physical execution of the works and all associated notification, liaison, statutory, regulatory, authority, safety, and construction obligations required for successful works delivery. The scope includes the replacement of three hundred (300) water meters, as listed in Volume 1a (available online on Council's Field Maps Collector portal, with Contractor access provided upon Contract Award). The works required under the Contract include, but are not limited to: Verification of water meter accessibility, location and sizes Supply and installation of replacement water meters, connectors, washers/gaskets, isolation valves and fittings required to render each new meter fully operational Pruning, clearing and cleaning as required to remove and replace meters Resident and community notifications Management, tracking and assurance of the replacement through Council's Field Maps Collector App and Portal Completion of the works within eight (8) weeks of Contract Award (excluding the Black Out Period) Conformance with the above as detailed in the Specification and Contract Contractor Requirements Appropriately qualified and experienced in water meter replacement, supply and installation Contract Terms and Conditions Works must be completed within eight (8) weeks of Contract Award, excluding the Black Out Period Instructions to Tenderers In accordance with Council Policy and Guidelines, Council invites quotations in accordance with the Invitation and the following accompanying documents: Volume 1 - Specification Volume 1a - Water Meter Renewal List 2026-2027 Volume 2 - Response Schedules Volume 3 - Conditions of Contract Any published Addenda A more detailed brief of the extent of services required by Council is set out in Volume 1 - Specification, which is included as part of the Request for Quotation documentation.
