About this tender

The Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking the provision of reliable Worker Residential Accommodation Cleaning Services that ensures quality cleans for their customers. Background/overview NNSWLHD provides accommodation for a diverse range of workers including agency nurses, locum medical officers and newly recruited external personnel. The accommodation properties are a combination of owned and leased by the NNSWLHD dwellings located across the district. Cleaning requirements for NNSWLHD Accommodation Services is divided into 3 areas, Northern, Central and Southern regions Appendix 2. As part of its operational responsibilities, NNSWLHD must ensure that all properties are maintained to a clean, safe and hygienic standard. This includes regular upkeep of the premises, timely management of property issues and ensuring that all residences remain fit for purpose. In addition, NNSWLHD is required to supply adequate linen and associated essentials to residents in these properties for the duration of their stay. Due to fluctuating occupancy levels, geographically dispersed properties and periodic workforce rotations, NNSWLHD requires external providers with the capacity to deliver consistent, scalable cleaning services Objective(s) The objective of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to seek suitable professional, qualified and experienced Provider(s) to provide cleaning services for accommodation utilised by the NNSWLHD. NNSWLHD accommodation portfolio comprises of multiple properties located across the District which supports a range of staff, including hospital employees, agency clinicians, locum medical officers, and newly recruited external staff requiring short‑term housing. In submitting a response, the Provider(s) must demonstrate their understanding of NNSWLHD operational requirements and their capability to deliver reliable, consistent services across the geographically dispersed accommodation network and to maintain service quality, in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) Appendix 1. The Provider(s) must demonstrate the ability to meet surge demand requirements during peak workforce rotations and urgent cleaning events, noting that surge demand typically arises at or in proximity to NNSWLHD base hospital locations, in line with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) Appendix 1. Responses must outline how the Provider(s) will meet all specified service standards, performance expectations, safety requirements and administrative requirements described in this RFT. Service providers may submit Tender responses for all, or part of required services within the RFT Scope The Provider(s) is required to provide cleaning services across the NNSWLHD accommodation portfolio. Cleaning requirements vary depending on tenancy arrangements and occupancy levels and flexibility is essential, as service needs may change in response to workforce demand across the NNSWLHD accommodation network. NNSWLHD supports local small businesses and welcomes new suppliers. While experience is encouraged, it is not essential.
