The Sport Voucher Scheme The Sport Voucher Scheme helps active Territory families with the cost of participating in sport, active recreation, and cultural activities. Every child living in the Northern Territory, from Transition to Year 12, who is enrolled in an NT school or registered for home-schooling, is eligible. In urban areas, school-enrolled students can apply for a $100 Sport Voucher twice per financial year—in July and January. Scheme Objectives The objectives of the Sport Voucher Scheme are to: Develop core aquatic skills and build water confidence in children through structured play; Increase participation of school-enrolled children in sport, active recreation, and cultural activities; Support the Department's goal of increasing physical activity among NT school-aged children; and Help shift the physical activity behaviours of children in the NT How to apply Follow these steps to apply for the Sport Voucher: Register or log in to your GrantsNT account Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Apply Now" Complete the application form, including your child’s enrolment details. Declare the information is correct and submit your application. Wait for the confirmation email, which will include your voucher.
