Alice Springs Town Council operates a Council Chamber where the existing discussion system has failed and is beyond economic repair. The platform is discontinued by the manufacturer with no spare parts available and there is no rapid replacement path. Council meetings are currently being held in an alternate room as an interim measure. The supporting audio chain, cabling and equipment housing are also aging and have contributed to intermittent audio-quality issues, particularly for remote participants joining via Microsoft Teams. The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced audiovisual systems integrator to design, supply, install, commission, support and maintain a complete replacement audiovisual, discussion, recording and webcasting solution within the existing Chamber, including the removal and responsible disposal of the redundant equipment. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
