Overview Porirua City Council requires an experienced contractor to replace the culvert at 6 Paekākāriki Hill Road, Pāuatahanui. Purpose Replacing the culvert will address long-standing drainage issues at the site and help reduce flooding along the road. Scope The scope includes: Replacement of the culvert at 6 Paekākāriki Hill Road, Pāuatahanui Carrying out works on a narrow, live road that must remain open throughout construction Maintaining access for nearby residents, businesses (including the Lighthouse Cinema) and a school throughout construction Working in proximity to live services, including a gas main, water and telecommunications Managing works in the presence of a flowing stream and high groundwater at the site Contractor Requirements Experience in drainage construction Experience in temporary traffic management Sound understanding of health and safety practices Capability in risk management and mitigation
